Main RP: A Starting Place

Danny put one hand behind his head. "There-there's not really that much to tell..." he said. "I can shape-shift into animals..."

He then looked over at JJ, then back at Claire. "I think she want's some attention..."

"I heard that!! I may be a hyper 16-year old, but what are you guys gunna do about that T-Rex?"
Closing her eyes, she throught really hard about a giant t-rex standing next to the pair. A glow emmited from the ground next to the two, and in a seond, a large tyrannosaurus rex was glaring down at the two.

Claire smiled and Danny "thats so cool!" she then turned to JJ "Woah, immpresive" She said looking at the T-rex

JJ smiled, eyes still closed with a three finers pressed to her forehead. The T-Rex leaned down, sniffing the two heroes suspiciously before letting out a bellowing roar.

Danny looked at the T. rex surprised, then closed his eyes. Soon, a bright white glow emitted from his body, and a few seconds later, a T. rex exactly the same size as the one JJ had summoned stood where Danny had been.

"Woah" Claire said astonished as she looked at the two t-rexes standing before her.

The T-Rex that JJ had created, disappeared as she opened her eyes. "HEY NO FAIR THAT'S MY TRICK!! If your powers are power mimicry you can kiss my lovely powers good-bye!!" She crossed her arms, glaring at the boy.

Danny grunted and, in another glow of light, transformed back into his normal body.

"I-I'm sorry," Danny said, his voice breaking a little. "I-I don't mimic powers...I just transform into animals. I'm-I'm sorry I made you mad..."

JJ blinked. "Oh, I'm sorry..."

"Well there both very cool powers" Claire said, smiling at JJ and Danny

"Yeah, I guess..." Danny said quietly. With that, he went outside the door and sat down on the floor, hugging his knees.

"Danny" Claire called out, following him out to the door, she slid down the wall next to him "Whats wrong?" She asked softly

Danny looked up at Claire and sighed. "Nothing. It's just...everywhere I've ever went, I've been...left out. Because of how I look." He looked in Claire's eyes again, showing his bluish-colored skin. "I've never fit in anywhere..."

"Well, I wont leave you out. I like the color of your skin, it makes you unique." Claire said, her green eyes locking on Danny's eyes "I'll make sure your not left out...I promise" Claire said softly

JJ smacked her forehead, running outside. "Danny!! Look I'm really sorry, I'm just trying to make some friends, cuz I never fit in, and the last time I saw someone do that they tried to steal my powers," JJ's voice cracked at the end.

Danny smiled at Claire, then looked at JJ, who looked to be on the verge of crying.

"It-it's alright..." he said, standing up. "You didn't know..."

JJ's vision blurred, tears blotting her eyes. Her fists were clenched at her sides. "I screw everything up..." she whispered. Black shadows started to weave around the ground where JJ was standing. "I can never do anything right..." The shadows started to climb up the foliage around them, emitting a dark halo.

Claire looked around quickly "JJ calm down" Claire said in a hushed voice

"Calm down? You want me to calm down?" The shadows turned to flames as her fists clenched tighter.

Claire stepped back a bit, accidently bumping into Danny a little. "JJ you didn't screw everything up. Its ok...ok? Relax, please" Claire said in a soothing voice

JJ looked behind her, realizing what she was doing. Her eyes widened and the flames disappeared, leaving the foliage perfectly unharmed. She sank to her knees, head in her hands. "Why...why does this always happen to me?"

Danny watched the drama unfold, literally at a loss as to what to do. When JJ sank to her knees, he approached her cautiously and put his hand on her shoulder.

"It's alright," he said. "You...we just had a little misunderstanding is all..."

Claire knelt down next to JJ as well "Are you alright?" Claire asked softly

JJ looked up at the two, tears running down her face. "Why can't I control it?"

"because your human. Its alright, JJ. We all sometimes loose control" Claire said quietly
