Main RP: A Starting Place

"Oh...that place...He never stops talking about it," Brian said as he walked with Austin.

[Sorry, unfortunately, homework calls and so does my guitar, which is in desperate need of attention. But i'll be on tomorrow! Talk to you then?]

"I know right? I wish he could stop talking about it...but hey, it was the place he asked Artemis out, so he sees it as very sentimental," Austin shrugged, hands in her jean pockets as she walked.

"Gah! Why is this SO hard!?"

(Any ideas? Sorry I haven't seen a lot of YJ eps)

"Yeah...He would keep saying I should take you to eat here," Brian said as he walked with her.

(Yep. Bye.)

"Why would he say that?" Austin asked, walking next to him, thinking as she looked out at the ocean.

[NVm, I have like 5 more minutes, if that counts for anything :/]

Brian shrugged even though he had a feeling he knew why.

[Now igtg, sorry, ttyal]

Austin didn't respond and thought to herself as she walked beside Brian. Accidentally, lost in tought she got near to the slighlty crumbling edge of the bank that dropped off to the ocean.

And of course she lost her footing.

(Hey! Can someone catch me up?)

"Austin!" Brian shouted as he grabbed her arm and pulled her back, then he tripped over his own feet and fell on his back, Austin on top of him.
(ok bye)

"I'm not sure..." JJ sighed, Robin was her hero, like, GODLY hero, how was she going to pull this off?

Psyche looked down at the pair of heroes, sneering at the sight of them. He focused his energy on the male, sending a consussive stream of thoughts aimed directly at his mind, manipulating the brain waves to make him beleive he was in extreme pain.

"Brian, hey, you okay?" Austin asked as she looked up. She realized she was on top of him and rolled off but stayed by his side.

(Brian isn't wearing his costume either but I'll just go with it I guess)

"Yeah," Brian said before grimacing and grabbing his abdomen and doubling over in pain.

[Same here I guess]

"Brian? Are you okay?" Austin asked as she looked at him and then wondering why he was in pain.

"Does it look like I'm ok!?!" Brian shouted angrily.

"N-no," Austin stuttered, flinching an stumbling backwards. She hadn't expected that.

"Gah!!!!" Brian shouted as his eyes turned red and he started glowing red.

"Just calm down, please, while I call the JL. Okay?" Austin said to Brian, seemigly calm as she placed her ahnds in front of her and slowly stood up.

"I need to go! I need to get far from here," Brian said as he slowly stood up. Something told him that he had to move from his current position.

"What? Why, what's happening?" Austin asked Brian, stopping her frantic dialing of the JL. She looked over at him, her worried eyes betraying her calm exterior.

"I-I don't know! I just need to go!" Brian shouted.

"O-okay....umm...this way!" Austin replied and in a blurr, disappeared, running out over the water.

{Ryana, are you playing Black Canary?}

A buzzing noise came over the intercom, and the beautiful African heroine Vixen stepped off the elevator. Beside her, a teenage boy with bluish-colored skin wearing a t-shirt and jeans looked down at the floor shyly.

"Sorry we're late," Vixen told Black Canary. "But Danny insisted I come with him...he's not very sociable around people he doesn't know."

Danny looked up at the other heroes in the room, recognizing Batman, Black Canary and the Young Justice team. He nodded and blushed, but said nothing.

[Yep]

"Hello Vixen and Danny. You're just in time," Black Canary smiled warmly, motioning to the team.

Brian started running across the water after Austin and the the pain starting to diminish.
