Main RP: A Starting Place

"Don't worry. She'll be back in a bit...hopefully," Brian said as he put his hands in his pocket.

"I don't want to go back! Oh, come on, can't I just...fine, whatever," A familiar spitfire's voice was heard down the hall. Black Canary appeared with Austin, dragging the girl back into the briefing room.

"You can't run off because you get mad at some idiot like Garrick," Canary scolded Austin who crossed her arms over her chest.

Alys leaned against the wall in the corner of the room she looked over at JJ then at the door then at JJ again. "Trust me, she'll get over it" She shrugged keeping her eyes on her video game.

JJ looked up. "Holy Imagination on the loose!! You're Robin!!!"

"What? How am I the idiot?" Brian asked before adding, "Plus I didn't say that we liked each other! That was JJ. Why do I always get blamed?"

"I don't want to be in this room anymore! Can't I go train? Alone?" Austin asked Black Canary, ignoring Brian and emphasising alone. Canary sighed and nodded, motioning to the hallway.

Austin was gone in a flash, literally and arrived at the training room. Robin chuckled and nodded, stepping back.

"Don't ask me," BC grumbled, returning to monitor the group.

Brian sighed. Austin always blamed him. He looked around and walked to the kitchen.

JJ looked around. "Sooo...what now? I'm kinda bored--scratch that, I am REALLY bored."

"Why not go train with Austin? She really didn't mean it when she said alone," Robin said, acting sincere though it was hard to tell. Of course he was stirring up mischief.

ALys smirked at Robin knowing what he was up to.

JJ narrowed her eyes. "You've got something up your sleeves Robby-boy."

"Yeah...Right. Next thing I know there's a million volts traveling through my body," Brian said.

"Well, if that's how you feel, i'm offended," Robin said, looking as if he had just been hit by a bus.

Brian disappeared for a couple seconds before reappearing with a can of soda. He opened it and started drinking it. It was going to be hard to make him go to train with Austin.

"Sorry, really I am, but I've read the minds of enough boys to know when they're up to something."

"Wow....I guess none of you will pass initiation then," Robin sighed and walked away, while secretly sending a mischievous wink to the YJ team members.

Austin reappeared a couple seconds later but she was crackling with electricity. And soaking wet.

"So, whose idea was it to place a bucket of water over the doorway to the training room?" Austin seethed as the lights started flickering.

ALys shrugged taking a step back "NOt me"

JJ raised her hand. "I know! Can I send a T-Rex after him? Please? Come on, PLEASE?"

"Not me. I swear," Brian said even though he was slowly edging towards the door. He hadn't put it there but he was not ready to get electrocuted.

"Who did-" Austin started to ask coldly as cackling was heard and the lights went out. Austin glared at the rafters and suddenly a blood red sword of electricity appeared in her hand.

"Austin, stop this. Now," Black Canary demanded and Austin sighed in frustration as her electric sword disappeared. The lights didn't go on though and Austin walked out to the teleporter, passing Brian.

JJ looked at the group of heroes. "So I can't send a T-Rex after Robin?"

"No. They're extinct," Brian said before running after Austin and saying, "Austin. Stop."

"Leave me alone, Brian," Austin replied coldly as she stopped in front of the teleporter.

JJ stood, rubbing her hands together. "What do you wanna bet I can make a T-Rex appear right in front of you?"

"Come on Austin. Isn't this what you wanted? To be part of a team like Wally and come closer to joining the JL?" Brian asked her as he stopped a couple feet behind her.
